Doctor of Philosophy and Educational Sciences from University of Seville; Degree in physical education from the Polytechnic University of Madrid; Professor of Physics Education in Secondary; Associate Professor-Doctor Faculty of Sport at the University Pablo de Olavide (2004-act.); Professor University of Seville (1980-1982); Principal Investigator Research Group of Technology and History of Physical Education and Sport (HUM-832); Former Director General of the Sports Bureau of the University Pablo de Olavide (2009-2011); Head of Physical Culture in the Directorate General of Sports of the Junta de Andalucía (1989-1992); Founder and Director of the journal "Materials for the History of Sport"; Manager of the V Iberoamerican Athletics Championships in 1992; Vice-President European Committee for Sport History (CESH) in 2005; member of several scientific committees and editorial of different scientific journals.
