Abstract

The French regulatory system strongly encourages strict regulation of health products? production and distribution, especially concerning risk management and economic aspects. An ICU is an unusual environment for a local pharmacy practice (a nurse for every 2.5 patients, continuous adaptation of therapeutics?). However, a literature review reports interesting data concerning risk management and economics. This article aims to relate the experience of pharmacist integration in a French teaching hospital ICU (half-time position).

Biography

Céline Moch has completed her PhD at the age of 30 years from University Claude Bernard of Lyon (France). She is hospital pharmacist at Hospices Civils de Lyon. She has published around 10 papers in reputed journals.
