Biography
The scientific activity of C. Battisti is reported by about 100 papers either on peer-reviewed Scientific Journals or technical Journals. The research focus on community (animal) ecology, trophic systems, biogeography (peninsula effect, island biogeography applied to mainland), applied ecology. In particular, in the applied ecology arena, the landscape planning and wildlife management aspects (problem solving and decision making applied to conservation) have been considered to clarify the relationships among human-induced disturbances and biodiversity.
