Biography

Prof. M. Ramachandra Mohan an eminent scholar, dynamic and dedicated researcher, illustrious guide and a humanistic administrator has been a crusader of excellence in education throughout his career. Since 30 years, Prof. Mohan working in the Bangalore University Dept of Zoology conducted several National and International Conferences as a Chairman and Organising Secretary. Dr Mohan got an opportunity to celebrate Zoology Centenary Year (1909-2009) as a Chairman (2009-2011), it is a rare opportunity for him to conduct the Centenary Year events of Zoology and create Centenary Year LOGO and also Centenary Year Special Postal cover of Zoology Department. Presently President, Indian Society for Comparative Animal Physiology - Convener, Karnataka state chapter of National Environmental Science Academy India. served as Head of the Department, Chairman, BOS and BOE in Zoology of Bangalore University .Conducted National and International Conferences as Chairman and Organizing Secretary.

Research Interest

Works on Fish Cytology, Physiology, Histology and Endocrine neuron pathways of endocrine disturbed chemicals and Water pollution. How the pesticides and human activities implies on fish health and factors involving in alteration of Lake Environment’
