Biography

Dr. Nicole Yantzi is the Director of the ECHO Research Centre. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at Laurentian university. She completed her PhD at Queen's University in 2005. Her PhD thesis was jointly funded by the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR) and the Hospital for Sick Children Foundation and was titled "Balancing and negotiating the home as a place for caring: The experiences of families caring for children with long-term care needs.
