Biography
Dr. Nicole Brooke is a passionate clinician and academic who has worked in aged care for more than 15 years. Nicole has extensive senior management experience as a Registered Nurse, Senior Nurse Educator, Operations Manager, Director of Nursing and more recently a Research and Development Manager. Nicole has worked as a Senior Lecturer both at the University of Technology, Sydney and currently with University of Tasmania. Her Doctorate of Philosophy explored case management in residential aged care and carefully considered the increasing complexity and acuity within the sector along with the challenges involved in workforce and case management implementation. Dr. Brooke has additionally been very successful at influencing and determining policy improvements in the sector both at an organisation and national level.
