Biography

Dr. Sandra M. Pereira has completed her RN degree in Educational Sciences and her Post-graduation in Palliative Care, Master and PhD in Bioethics. She is currently working as Assistant Professor at Nursing School of Angra do Heroísmo, University of Azores. She is also the Member of the Unit of Research of the Institute of Bioethics – Catholic University of Portugal. She has also been an Invited lecturer in the module of Psychogerontoloy at the undergraduate course and Master in Psychology – Faculty of Education and Psychology, Catholic University of Portugal and at the Post-graduate Course in Palliative Nursing, Nursing School of Minho University, Portugal.

Research Interest

Dr. Sandra M. Pereira areas of interest: Palliative Care, Ethics, Burnout, Quality of Life, Nursing.
