Abstract

Percutaneous renal surgery has evolved gradually over the past 20 years and has become emblematic in the minimally invasive treatment of kidney stones. However, its use has not expanded more as it carries a significant learning curve coupled with the acquisition of multiple high-tech equipment. From the technique discussed in this presentation we explain did actimamente as alternatives which can be optimized to perform a successful percutaneous renal surgery without complications.

Biography

Paul Escovar La Rivahas completed his medical school from Carabobo University in 2000 at Carabobo State, Venezuela, general surgery studies from International Red Cross Valencia Hospital in Venezuela at 2003 and Urology studies from Fundacio Puigvert in Barcelona, Spain at 2008. He completed his Urological Oncology Research Fellowship at Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Florida, USA. He is the Chief of Minimally Invasive Surgery Department at Urology Academic Center in Valencia, Venezuela and has presented and published more than 40 papers in different scientific scenarios.
