Alexandra Kissling
Biography
Alexandra Kissling earned her PhD in Sociology from the Ohio State University. Alex's research concerns gender, reproduction, families and inequality. Her dissertation work considers how individuals and couples choose tubal ligation or vasectomy as their main form of contraception. My ongoing research agenda focuses on how inequalities in family and gender influence health, using qualitative and quantitative approaches. Specifically, how do gendered dynamics within families impact health disparities and outcomes?Publications
