Biography

Dr. Michelle M. Cloutier is the Chair of the NAEPP Coordinating Committee Expert Panel Working Group that updated the national asthma guidelines. She is Professor Emerita of Pediatrics and Medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and the Founding Director of the Asthma Center at Connecticut Children's Medical Center. She is an established investigator funded by the NIH for more than 35 years and has more than 125 publications. She is also an award-winning teacher and is the creator of the evidence-based, Easy Breathing Program, a disease management program for pediatricians.
