Nell Brownstein has been involved with CHW programs, policy, and research since 1990. Works with intervention projects and translates and disseminates chronic disease related health promotion strategies (such as CHWs) from research projects to practice. Serves as an advisor to national CHW projects. Advisor to the Community Health Workers Section of APHA. Written various papers and documents on CHWs.
