Biography

Karolien van den Brekel-Dijkstra and she work as a general practitioner in Leidsche Rijn, Utrecht, with a focus on prevention and Positive Health. In her work she take health as the starting point and people are central. It is her mission to inspire as many people as possible and to make them aware of what is meaningful to them and what they need for a healthy(er) life; This allows people to take more control over their own health.Positive Health has guided my career and life. In the many years that she have lived, worked and obtained her PhD abroad.
