Abstract
According to the International Diabetic Federation, obesity is a prerequisite for the development of the symptoms of Metabolic Syndrome (MS). Providing medication to treat the symptoms of MS only impacts the abnormal values, whereas addressing the patient芒�?�?s obesity helps treat the actual cause of MS. However, mere weight loss may not be sufficient to improve the medical issues. This diet is designed to help patients lose fat mass, as well as expel excessive water retention, while preserving the patient芒�?�?s muscle mass. Once the patient is losing weight, exercise counseling and stress management are also added to the treatment program. Education is a major component of our program. There are numerous misconceptions about dieting that will be addressed during this session.Biography
